What you need to know

The Youth Job Connection (YJC) program serves youth aged 15 to 29 who experience multiple and/or complex barriers to employment by providing more intensive supports beyond traditional job search and placement opportunities. This specific programming enables youth to have early access to the job market while sharpening their employability skills!

You’re eligible for the Youth Job Connection program if …

• You’re between 15 – 29 years old.

• Eligible to work in Canada.

• Currently unemployed with no source of income.

• Not enrolled at another Employment Ontario Agency.

• Not in school or enrolled in an apprenticeship program.

YOUTH JOB CONNECTION PROGRAM PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING;

• Free career coaching.

• Paid pre-employment training.

• Job skills workshops that focus on interview preparation, resume building, and more.

• Placement opportunity!
