NEW is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to assume the role of Executive Assistant to the Executive Director (ED). In this position, you will plan and coordinate an active calendar of appointments and work closely with the ED to effectively manage and support internal and external confidential commitments, projects and relationships. Your role will extend to the efficient management of a broad range of administrative responsibilities and tasks including supporting confidential governance-related meetings and committees.
As a member of the NEW language team, the ESL Instructor works in collaboration with team members and participates in curricula development, assessment and evaluation of student needs within a women-centered framework. Staff works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization.
The Digital Literacy Coach assists instructors in using research-based, instructional, learning strategies and content specific, differentiated instruction in assisting instructors in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons and individual student success.
The Coordinator is the first point of contact for the organization and will assist in carrying out the administrative operations for all ESL programs in accordance with the standards set out by the organization and its funders.
The Mental Health/Crisis Counselor will provide short-term crisis counseling support and intervention to our clients experiencing emotional distress and/or are in crisis situations. NEW will assist newcomer clients with strengthening their coping skills, making referrals to community mental health resources.
