Where Your Funds Go:

Your donation will be allocated where it's needed most, ensuring maximum impact. From offering wrap-around support to meet newcomers’ immediate needs, to providing career coaching, language instruction, skills & leadership development training, labour market orientation, and job placement assistance, our programs are tailored to address the unique needs of newcomers and their families. Additionally, our settlement services include assistance with government services, Citizenship test preparation and support in accessing health care, education, housing and employment.

With each recurring donation, our team is able to support the immediate needs of immigrant women by directing them to settlement resources and providing them with language instruction, pathways and coaching towards employment opportunities as well as programs that help them overcome the systems and structures that impede their success. 

Newcomers Women’s Service is a registered charity under the Canadian Revenue Agency 119056455 RR 0001. All contributions are tax deductible against Canadian income. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution.

NEW focuses on the immediate needs of immigrant women by directing them to settlement resources and providing them with language instruction, pathways and coaching towards employment opportunities as well as programs that help them overcome the systems and structures that impede their success. However, financial donations alone aren’t enough to sustain our mission. We rely on the generosity of our community to provide the diverse range of items that our clients need.

Every contribution makes a significant difference and propels us closer to becoming the one-stop-shop for newcomers and their families. At NEW, we gratefully accept donations of food, clothing, technology, household items, and more. Your in-kind donations help us offer comprehensive support to those who need it most.
