The Middle East.

Why were you interested in joining the S2S program?I wanted to develop my confidence, leadership skills and meet like-minded women.

What is the most significant thing you have learned about yourself since being a Sister?That having support can change your life. Because of that support, I have achieved the goal I set for myself at the beginning of the program. I have started a job that is a great fit for me and I created a five-year plan that I am excited about

Please finish these two sentences with one word that describes how you are feeling: Before the program, I was unsure. After the program, I am clear.

What did you appreciate the most about the program?
The support I received from Sara and the women in the group.

What is your favourite memory from the program?
The writing session with Yaldaz. I felt empowered and able to write my stories and I understood how this act can make a great impact on a personal level and also a community level when you use stories to advocate for a cause.

What did you learn about gender-based violence? 
I understand that there are all forms of gender-based violence; I know how to identify it and support a person going through it.

What does it mean to you to be a good leader? How has the Sister2Sister program helped you develop that skill or outlook? To advocate for myself and others.

What is your one piece of advice to future Sister2Sister members? Commit to the program and then be prepared to get inspired.
