The Eviction Prevention Workshop aims to highlight the steps involved in preventing housing loss and supporting housing stability. Evictions are an ever-present threat for many households in Canada. They can have serious and long-term impacts, especially for people with low-income and other vulnerable households. Eviction prevention is a broad set of programs, policies, interventions, and strategies to keep people in their homes and prevent them from entering homelessness. Participants will learn about the importance of understanding evictions, the eviction process, and available resources and support.
