The location for these roles is 750 Lawrence Avenue West, and for the first 3-4 months, representatives will be required to go into the office.

Roles

Customer Service Contact Centre Representative: As a Customer Care Representative at our Contact Centre, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients calling in with questions about their credit cards. You’ll deepen client relationships by quickly resolving issues, identifying financial opportunities, and providing personalized credit card solutions.

Identity Theft Response Representative: As an Identity Theft Response officer, you’ll use extensive analytical ability, resolve all complex or difficult problems relating to Fraud Applications, Account Takeovers, Convenience Cheques, and Payments referred by other areas of CIBC or other external sources (law enforcement, other financial institutions, etc.), as well as from our monitoring systems (Capstone, Falcon, Gemini & Hawk).

Dispute & Credit Representative: The Dispute and Credit Centre Representative will respond to incoming inquiries or requests from either CIBC VISA or CIBC MasterCard customers in a pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and professional manner. DCC Representatives may also be assigned to make outbound calls to clients to resolve clients disputes, educate the client on the dispute handling process or to request additional information from the client.

CIBC Agent @ Home Program

CIBC is transitioning to an Agent @ Home model, for this role you will be required to work from home at some point in this process. The expectation and details will be confirmed if you moved through the recruitment process. Even though this role is a remote position - the expectation is that you must be able to attend your primary CIBC location within two hours upon request (e.g. technology/service outages, Business Contingency Planning, team meetings, celebration, events, etc.)

The Agent @ Home Program requires you to have a secure workspace, in a room or office with  a door that closes it off from noises and distractions. You must have wired Internet connection, capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rate (Internet connection can be connected to modem through hard cable (not wireless) with a minimum download speed of 15 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps)
