June 19, 2024, Toronto, ON Newcomer Women's Services Toronto

Today’s seniors are living longer and are more active, but too many still suffer from social isolation.

Newcomer Women's Services Toronto has received funding in part from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program. The funds will be used to implement a specialized initiative aimed at addressing social isolation among senior immigrant women in Toronto.

The Program is a federal grants and contributions program whose goal is to support projects that help improve the well-being of seniors and foster social inclusion and engagement in their communities.
