Rogers is looking for part-time Technical Support Advisors! Candidates must have strong customer support skills, a friendly attitude, and technical acumen. Successful applicants will be working from home until further notice.
This role pays $18.93 per hour, with an additional shift premium of 25% when working on Sundays, and an extra $2.55 when you work between the hours of 12:00 am - 2:00 am! Bonuses can also be earned every quarter based on performance. Being a part time employee, you will be eligible for dental and health benefits starting after 90 days of employment. Employee discounts of up to 50% off our services will be offered as of day 1 of service.
All registrations will be reviewed prior to the event, and initially screened candidates will receive a job application link and online assessment from Rogers. ONLY registrants who successfully passed the assessment will move forward to the next phase of the selection process.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPECTATIONS
1. Shifts will be assigned by seniority depending on the department being serviced, shift availability, and the needs of operations. You will be working according to the shifts which have been assigned to you. New employees will most likely be working evening shifts (To this day, the evening shift finishes at 2:00am, but, as mentioned previously, the Hours of Operations are subject to change).
2. Once hired, all technical support consultants must complete a remunerated internal training program of 4-8 weeks. This full time training will cover our systems and products. It will help perfect your skills in customer service, sales domains and technical support. Training will consist of in-class and on the job training with a mentor as support. Participation in all aspects of this training program including ALL web-based modules is OBLIGATORY. Failure to follow this program with integrity will not be tolerated. Throughout the full training, there will be regular assessments to test your comprehension of material learned during the 4 weeks of training.
3. The hourly wage for this position is $18.93/hour. Eligible employees will also have salary reviews, according to the Compensation Cycle (semi-annually and annually) and to the policies in place. You will receive a shift premium of 25% when working on Sundays, and an extra $2.55 when you work between the hours of 12:00 am - 2:00 am. Bonuses can also be earned every quarter based on performance. Throughout your training, you will receive your base pay only; you will not be eligible for bonus payouts. Being a part time employee, you will be eligible for dental and health benefits starting after 90 days of employment. Employee discounts of up to 50% off our services will be offered as of day 1 of service.
