Join Newcomer Women's Services Toronto for a full-day of employment-readiness training facilitated by Ranju Shergill. This training session is offered as part of our Sister2Sister Advanced Leadership Program, skills and leadership development program that bridges the gap between employer needs and newcomer women skills. Ranju Shergill
Ranju is a Partner of Pekarsky & Co., a boutique executive search firm, based in Calgary, Alberta. Originally from the U.K., and raised in Vancouver, she relocated to Calgary in 1993 when she started her career in environmental sciences. Ranju practiced as a professional biologist within the environmental consulting sector for 16 years prior to joining Pekarsky & Co., in 2009. In her prior role before joining Pekarsky & Co., she was the Executive Vice President, Corporate Services with Alpine Environmental Ltd., an environmental services company with offices across Western Canada.
Ranju focuses on executive recruitment in legal and corporate professions across various industries and has developed an outstanding reputation as a recruiter with her clients in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. She is currently leading the Diversity & Inclusion practice for Panorama Leadership, a global alliance of executive search firms. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association, a Director and incoming Chair of the Governance and HR Committee for the Calgary Convention Centre Authority, and also a member of the Calgary Stampede Downtown Attractions Committee for the Calgary Stampede. Ranju holds a B.Sc. from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
