Sewing Machine Operator Trainee: You’ll work as part of a larger team to sewing, completing, and reviewing quality garment pieces (according to Canada Goose standards).
Requirements:
No previous sewing experience required
Experience in positions where a high level of detail
Ability to keep a steady hand while running fabric through a machine
Proven ability to follow instruction, problem solve and take initiative towards a solution
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Sewing Machine Operator: Working from directions assigned by the Line/Section Supervisor, the Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for assessing quality of garment pieces before sewing and sewing parts of a garments.
Requirements:
Sewing experience in Manufacturing and Apparel industry considered an asset.
Experience on single needle, double needle, and seam serger machines considered a definite asset
Experience in positions where a high level of detail
Ability to keep a steady hand while running fabric through a machine
Proven ability to follow instruction, problem solve and take initiative towards a solution
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
