Free Zumba Class for Newcomer & Racialized Women
Keyword: Health Promotion & Sport
Every Thursday afternoon, about 20 newcomer women and youth girls gather at NEW’s activity room for an hour-long zumba class, where they make new friends and learn easy-to-follow dance moves with a certified exercise instructor.
In partnership with Women’s Health in Women’s Hands Community Health Centre (WHIWH), Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto offers free zumba classes for newcomer and immigrant women from across Toronto, supporting them to stay active through exercises in a safe and supportive space.
